A Blueprint for Welcome
The One Voice Minnesota (OVM) initiative is a project of The Advocates for Human Rights that aims to combat bias, address immigration-related issues, and build healthy welcoming communities through a network of resources, tools and information sharing.

The One Voice Minnesota Monitoring Project (OVM) is currently seeking community human rights monitors to gather data from community interviews and community conversations. If interested in volunteering to become a monitor, please register for an upcoming training workshop here:

Project Background:
OVM investigates, documents, and assesses how fully Minnesota welcomes all residents. The experiences of immigrants,
refugees, and long-term residents in Minnesota will be evaluated against
international human rights standards to help create policy
recommendations that ensure that Minnesotans' human rights are
respected, protected, and fulfilled. The Advocates Blueprint for a
Welcoming Minnesota, to be released in early 2014, will serve as a basis for
public discussion and policy advocacy. Find more information about the

The One Voice Minnesota Monitoring Project: Creating a Blueprint for Welcome
Investigates, documents, and assesses how fully Minnesota welcomes all residents.
