  • Receive resources for individuals to seek out accurate information on immigration
  • Develop strategies and tools for educating local communities about immigration

In this interactive workshop, community groups and advocates will explore our country’s immigration laws and their impact on immigrants, citizens, and communities. Through activities, role plays, and group discussion, we will examine common myths about immigration and present the facts on the ways that immigrants contribute to our economy and our nation. The Advocates will provide resources for participants interested in seeking out accurate information on immigration. Building on tools provided by the Advocates, participants will also generate strategies for educating local communities about immigration and advocating for change.
