The Fair will include presentations and workshops; health resource booths featuring medical and dental clinics, health insurance plans, post-secondary education programs, volunteer opportunities, no-cost vision, blood pressure and blood sugar screening. The Health and Resource Fair will be a one-of-a-kind opportunity for health organizations and businesses to network and inform the Vietnamese community about their services and programs. Last year over 400 community members and 32 resource vendors participated, and more than 300 persons received health screening.

Vietnamese Social Services, a community-based, not-for-profit organization formed in 1987, has over 15 years of history in providing health outreach and education services for Minnesota’s Vietnamese community, now numbering over 25,000.
